Well, I have moved in (but not fully unpacked) to my new rectory and office.
As I packed and unpacked I realized how much junk I have, not to mention books, vestments, and other "stuff" of all sorts (and yes I did take my coffin with me.)
I ask for you continued prayers as I begin in earnest my new assignment. It is a daunting task to be appointed Pastor for the first time.

Welcome, Father-- we are anxious to meet you, and would like to have you over for dinner as soon as it is possible. We are part of Saint Margaret's Fellowship and have hear so many delightful things about you.
I am happy to see you moved to blogspot. Moderating comments here is rather easy and I have not had trouble with it yet!
God Bless!

Father, green lettering on a green background makes it REALLY difficult to read for those of us with not-so-great vision!
Good to see your new incarnation, Father. But the green-on-green is a disaster. The Federal Americans with Disabilities Act would frown on it if it applied. There are two kinds of color blindness which your choice of colors makes into nothing but a gray blur. If you're interested in fixing things, check out: http://www.wat-c.org/
Thanks for the comments on the blog layout, I have made a few adjustments with the text color, but as far as the backgound color, it's going to stay that way through Ordinary Time. I plan on changing the color scheme with the Liturgical Seasons. If you have any other suggestions on how to stay within the green color scheme and still make it readable let me know.
How about a green border around the page, but the print on white, or in white boxes against the green background? It is hard to read -- and I love green (being Irish, you see!)
Good luck on your new parish.
