Poster #1: Please keep your rude and immature comments to yourself. I was at Fr. Christensen's Mass with my family, and his homily was excellent. I spoke with other parishioners who felt equally fortunate to have such a good priest. Why would you come to this site if you are just going to take issue with what this fine young priest says and does? Please leave well enough alone, and let those of us who love Fr. Christensen appreciate what he has to say.
Again, I must remind people that foul language will not be tolerated. If we don't keep it clean than I will have to close the comment boxes for good. Thank you.
Father as always your homily are good, I like the story you told in this one because it is so true. Thanks for puting them up even if i cant be in SD i can listen to your homilies.
May the Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth, and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies. [Ps 40:3]
Let us pray for Paul our Bishop.
Heavenly Father, in these trying times when the spirit of the age threatens Christian values, give our bishop holiness of life and wisdom to direct and guide our diocese so that we may grow in your love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
I am a priest of the Diocese of Sioux Falls currently serving as Pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Dimock, SD and Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ethan, SD all while working on a S.T.L. from the Liturgical Institute in Mundelein, IL.

Beautiful homily Father C.! Please keep up the great work and keep posting these homilies! My prayers are with you and all priests.
Great homily as usual. I enjoy being able to listen to your homilies online, as I am often distracted by our boys at Mass :)
