I have been experimenting a bit with music in my podcast. Let me know what you think about it, and if you have any pointers about adding music to the podcast, mixing, etc.
Father Christensen, you said it very well. I have found myself in the situation you mention in your homily... It seems that I always had too much to do and not enough time to dedicate to spirituality. But recently, and thanks to readings and Catholic podcasts(and which is more important, help and enlightening from the Highest) I feel renewed and stronger and more commited.
Unfortunately as a child and teenager I received very few Catholic education: I was baptized and that was pretty much it. But I am committed now as an adult to get that education as I finish RCIA.
May the Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth, and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies. [Ps 40:3]
Let us pray for Paul our Bishop.
Heavenly Father, in these trying times when the spirit of the age threatens Christian values, give our bishop holiness of life and wisdom to direct and guide our diocese so that we may grow in your love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
I am a priest of the Diocese of Sioux Falls currently serving as Pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Dimock, SD and Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ethan, SD all while working on a S.T.L. from the Liturgical Institute in Mundelein, IL.
