Another Ministerial Appointment

His Excellency, Bishop Paul J. Swain has entrusted to me, in addition to my current assignments, another ministry. He has appointed me Chaplain to St. Margaret's Fellowship, a Catholic homeschool organization for families in the Sioux Falls, SD area. I look forward to serving this wonderful group of families and, with God's grace, lead them closer to the heart of Christ, the Divine Teacher.

Please remember me in your prayers as I take on this new ministry.

We'll keep you in our prayers.

We homeschooled our kids for 4 years before enrolling them in the Parish school. The parish school was only an option because it actually taught the Catholic Faith and not some watered down version of the Catholic faith.

Unbelievable. You make it sound as though you have been appointed to a major post. You are a resource person. A chaplain does not have many responsibilities outside being attentive to the spiritual needs of a people. Little less pride there, Padre, and a little more work. You gotta get offline and out of the virtual world. I speak on a number of folks that express a concern for addiction to cyberspace and other things on the computer(!). As they say in "Avenue Q," "there is a whole world waiting out there for you," big guy. Go for it. You might even score men to replace you! Oremus pro invicem.
